The Well on Wednesdays

Go deeper at the Well on Wednesdays at Cedar Creek. The Well features a family meal at 6:15pm, and various study options for the entire family at 7pm. Meals are $2/person and $6/family. Here are some of the offerings for this quarter of The Well:
FOR ADULTS:
A Study of Prayer, led by Mike Kjergaard
This study will be led by Mike Kjergaard and will occasionally feature some guest lecturers, some interactive prayer services, and an in-depth look at what the Bible has to say about prayer.
Men face a maelstrom of temptation every day. This Bible study is a venue for men to take on the temptations that threaten their jobs, marriages, and families, using the Bible as a guide for holiness. This study is for men only.
FOR STUDENTS:
Scary, Gross & Weird Stories from the Bible
Have you heard about the bloody tent pegs, the disembodied fingers, or the suicidal pigs? It’s all in the Bible! Behind the bizarre of the Bible lurks the truth that helps us know God in greater ways. See what these weird stories have to teach us about God’s truth!
Class Focus: This is a relaxed setting to come and learn together.

Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God, led by Kevin Petermen
For more than 15 years, God has used Experiencing God in His work, showing believers how to know Him intimately while encouraging them to step out in faith and join Him in His work – with miraculous results.
This class is for the student who desires to a have deeper relationship with Christ and is willing to work hard. There will be homework and a study guide that you will work through each week.
Class Focus: Spiritual depth in knowing God’s will for our lives.

His Girl (by Vicky Courtney), led by Lee Ann Hinsky
This class is a Bible Study, led by our Girls Only Ministry. This study equips teen girls for the marvelous and mind-boggling journey through adolescence and beyond. It challenges and encourages them to be godly women in today’s anything-but-godly world by tackling tough issues that girls face.
